Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid and Chirag Rashmikant Patel, known as Karpe, have spent over two decades building worlds — immersive universes of music, film and visuals where every release is an event of its own. Their honest, uncompromising take on identity, belonging and society has resonated far beyond Norway.
Starting in local clubs, through ten sold-out nights at Oslo Spektrum — described by Rolling Stone as "the most beautiful show in the world" — the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony and a 21-show European tour alongside Quick Style, to tickets for their upcoming Karpe World festival gone in nine minutes.
In 2019, Karpe donated the master rights and income from their entire catalogue to the Patel & Abdelmaguid Foundation (PAF), a fund supporting refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants, with all streaming revenue going to the foundation.
