With a natural ear for music, a love for beats and a passion for mixing, Kasango, real name Kasmario Thulani Ike
Fankis thrives in all things music.
Born and raised in the small town of Welkom in the Free State, South Africa, Kasango has always known that
music is his calling in life. At the age of 16 years, Kasango discovered an even deeper love for House Music,
which saw to him collecting enormous amounts of records. Drawing his inspiration from South African House DJs
such as Black Coffee, and DJ Kent, Kasango decided to submerge himself in the industry, where he would attend
events that he aspired to play at one day, and closely studied the craft of those he drew inspiration from, later
applying all he learned to his own craft as soon as he got home. Today, he headlines the events of his dreams.
Since joining the industry, Kasango has had the pleasure of working on production with the likes of; Euphonik,
Nico De Andrea, Vanco, FKA Mash, Djeff, Citizen Deep, Zakes Bantwini, and Micheal Canitrot. A list that has been
continuously growing.
