Kasba is the Dutch/Moroccan sound that wakes you up at every moment with their energetic crossover of North African and Western music. Combined with socially engaged lyrics, they energize every crowd they play for. When this 8-piece band sets itself in motion there is no way back and people just want to move into North African atmospheres.

Kasba collaborated with numerous famous artists in The Netherlands and abroad like the Grammy winning Metropole Orchestra. In Morocco Kasba scored a number 1 hit and the group can be seen or heard on radio and TV channels every week. The band played at Mawazine festival Morocco, the second largest festival in the world, Ollin Kan festival Mexico, Lowlands festival in Holland and many more. Most international attention they got when they performed at the wedding of King Willem Alexander of The Netherlands in 2002, a performance that was broadcasted in 64 countries.
In the Netherlands they were nominated for several awards, such as "Best Dutch World Music Act". In 2017 they were selected for the international showcase festival “Visa for Music” in Rabat where they gave a dazzling show that was shown live on Moroccan TV. Summer 2018 they performed at the Timitar festival in Agadir Morocco. In 2019 and 2020 the band has been working on new music and the clip of the song "Mama Walou" will be released. In 2022, Kasba will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a series of special concerts, brand new singles and with the release of a new album.
