Kasey Rios is an independent R&B recording artist hailing from San Bernardino who’s passion for music began at 4 years old, listening to established artists such as MICHAEL JACKSON, R. KELLY, WILL SMITH, 2 PAC, CHRIS BROWN, and more. At the age of 6, his family relocated to Lebanon, and his passion for music followed. He eventually met local rapper Bader Ataya, known as B.A.D., in high school and together they recorded music in a makeshift studio about the hardships and tribulations that surrounded them and their people because of governmental neglect.
In 2016 he attended the Musicians Institute, College of Music in Hollywood for the independent artist program, graduating in March 2018, and continuing into the Audio Engineering Program in 2020. His music incorporates a large array of genres including Trap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Pop and Dance. His use of soulful samples and melodies forms a fresh yet familiar omage, lyrically circling topics about love, loss, ambition, and experiences from another world.
In 2019 he released a series of mixtapes including over 50 original records recounting the start of a new love and the journey of its conception. The y were met with positive reception and covered in more than one article by Buzz Music LA. At year end He was named on Buzz Music LA’s best of 2019 list.
In 2021 he continues to release music, currently working on his follow up body of work, as well as multiple collaborations with artists and DJs @AnderHuang and @Kuromi.
