Kasondra Rose

Kasondra Rose is a Tampa Bay based performing artist who has been performing across the country for more than a decade. An accomplished vocalist with two albums of original music, Kasondra also has an extensive dance background and trains in aerial silks. Kasondra’s versatility allows her to shift between musical and theatrical styles. Her vocal talents range from folk, rock, pop, sultry jazz, to musical theater.

Kasondra studied dance and musical theater at Marymount Manhattan College but found her voice with NYC based vocal coach Steve Sweetland with additional vocal study at The Leopold School of Voice and Piano. She studied musical theater improvisation at American Stage and later performed in musical theater improv shows with their in-house team.

In 2013, she self-released her 5 song EP “More Than I,” followed up by her 2016 self-released, full-length album “Out of Thin Air,” both produced by Jeremy Douglass, The Florida Bjorkestra founder and resident musical director for Jobsite Theater. Kasondra’s talent has taken her across the country – from singing in basement indie shows to tap dancing on an off-off-Broadway stage in New York City. Her favorite credits include being a lead vocalist for The Florida Bjorkestra and the White Queen in Jobsite Theater’s original production of Alice.
