Charismatic and principled, Kastilla is an emerging writer, performer and recording artist that demands attention.  

Born in Toronto, Ontario - from a young age Kastilla was primarily raised by her father alongside her 3 brothers. Tho they maintain a relationship rooted in love, Kastilla’s lack of a strong bond with a female relative to look up to and help guide her has always weighed heavy on her heart. 

Striking out on her own at 15yrs old, Kastilla navigated her independence thru a series of life experiences that has left her stronger, wiser and with a rich library of moments to draw from as she creates her music today. 

Coming up, Kastilla would mask poverty with a wealth of creativity. Using YouTube as a primary source of education she taught herself everything from hair and makeup to flipping thrift store finds into fashionable looks. Moving around a lot, including in and out of the shelter system, has taught Kastilla to take nothing for granted. She works hard for every opportunity with a determined and grateful perspective. 

With music as both her calling and chosen career path, as Kastilla began to make some money thru her various hustles, she started investing deeply in herself.

Creating records that alternate between themes of love, loss, motivation and empowerment - Kastilla has released 9 songs and 3 videos to date and is still just getting started.
