Kat Holder

Music has not always been the forefront of Kat Holder’s life. The last thing she wanted to do was open up her mouth and sing. Her mother was one of the first people to see the gifting in Kat, and, along with other mentors, spent countless hours encouraging Kat to use her gift. After graduating High School, Kat became a part of a nine-month discipleship program where her worship leading, song writing, and creative experiences began.

Today, Kat serves at The Rock Family Worship Center in Huntsville, AL, as the Director of Performing Arts. She also has served as the Director of Worship Development,and the Worship Administrative Assistant. She and her husband have both been on staff at the Rock for almost 20 years.

In 2024, Kat graduated with her Master’s degree in Worship and Leadership. Not only did she complete this degree but she also began play-writing and has helped write and direct 3 stage plays as well. The performing arts is another thing Kat is passionate about and she is excited to continue growing and developing others in this area as well!

Through all this, Kat knows the Lord has called her to be an encourager. Whether it’s in worship, teaching or a simple word, Kat’s heart is to encourage. Part of Kat’s testimony is her overcoming fear and insecurities. For years she kept silent and now she has a passion to see others not let fears and insecurities stop them from becoming all that God has called them to be!
