Katastrov

Katastrov name is taken from the word catastrophe, which represents their apocalyptic nuanced music. Heavy and thick guitar distortion, frantic shouts and emotive vocals and wide and gigantic sounded drums are their identity.

Katastrov musical style is much inspired by hard rock or proto-metal acts like Black Sabbath and Motörhead mixed with the punk/hardcore signature drum beat and simple guitar riffs in the veins of Discharge or Doom wrapped with the roughness and harshness guitar sound ala early 90’s Swedish death metal such as Entombed and At the Gates.
