Formed originally in 1966, they recorded for the Fontana, SAGA, and CBS Record labels. Their complete back catalogue of singles and albums was re-mastered and re-released in 2011, on the album " Major Catastrophe - The Katch 22 Story 1966 - 1969 " Cherry Red Records RETRO893.
On the strength of this release and to supply a demand for new music from the band, the original song-writing team of Paul Bonner and Mike Eastman, got together again and have produced three new albums in 2015, 2016 and 2019, to great acclaim.
