Katherine Sarah

Katherine (or Katie) is a singer-songwriter who longs to behold Jesus all of her days. Most of her songs were birthed in her bedroom or the prayer room. People often say, “When she opens her mouth, the enemy runs.” She grew up as a missionary kid, living in Miami, South Korea, Indonesia, and Indiana. She now lives in Washington DC, where she works full time bi-vocationally as a labor and delivery nurse and loving her neighbors in her city.

Whether it’s with her patients enduring the pains of childbirth, a passenger she sits next to on an airplane, or a grieving friend, she invites those around her to pause and go to the deep places with God. Her songs reflect that.

Some things you should know about Katherine: She loves mountains, poetry, coffee, liturgy, airplane food, church history, waffles, and sabbath. Oh, and people; she loves people a lot.
