Katie Ellie

With her unique lyrics and soft but haunting voice, Katie Ellie has grabbed the attention of radio stations in the USA and UK, since uploading the first studio recording of one of her original songs Miss Lionheart; to soundcloud in 2014. In 2019, the song saw its long awaited official release as the first step of a new era for this young artist.

Raised in West Yorkshire, she started writing her own music from the age of 9, after listening to the UK top 40 radio show every Sunday, writing down the lyrics to the hits and keeping them for herself as a diary, where she also captured her thoughts, dreams and life experiences. Her songs became a doorway into a world of imagination where there were no limits, one she could create to overcome the onset of stress and worries of growing up in a changing world.

Soon after “Miss Lionheart”, Katie featured on “BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire” which quickly made it’s way to independent radio in the US, where she became a featured artist on stations along with interviews. This led to her being a support act for <a href="spotify:artist:2lKeiALM1T2TZrOiTYlLNA" data-name="Billy Lockett">Billy Lockett</a> on the Leeds date of his tour, a feature on John Thacker&#39;s EP, performed at Leeds Pride and has countless EDM producers looking to collaborate.

&#39;Miss Lionheart&#39; was nominated for &#39;Best alternative song of 2015&#39;. Katie has been since in development and has released Stronger and Somebody else&#39;s daughter, produced by <a href="spotify:artist:7D0V1JYNXvhpxHDoP3zu0x" data-name="The Dunwells">The Dunwells</a>.
