NYC based actor Katie Kleiger grew up singing and playing guitar, which turned into a love for folk singer/songwriter music at an early age. Drawing inspiration from indie folksters such as The Staves, Nick Drake, This Is The Kit, and Lucy Dacus, Kleiger teamed up with Asheville based Producer/Engineer Dowell Gandy. With Gandy’s experience recording more experimental and electronic acts for Echo Mountain, the pair set out to record her debut EP “Adaptations” in 2019 and her new album “yes & also this” in 2021
