Katlegxw's music is deeply rooted in the Sgidongo sound, a sub-genre of Amapiano characterized by its unique blend of rich sound textures and log drum signature bass sound. He's likely influenced by prominent Sgidongo artists and producers such as Mdu AKA Trp, Lowbass Djy, Hotfurze, Shakaman YKTV, and Fada Figa. Only aged 18, Katlegxw is qradually becoming a prominent figure in the Sgidongo sub genre.
