Swiss singer/celebrity Katy Winter shot to fame as a finalist on the TV talent show MusicStar in 2003/2004, and a sporadic recording career followed, beginning with her debut album, Private (2005). The album didn't sell well, spending only two weeks on the Swiss album chart and peaking at number 82. Winter returned a couple years later with the Top 25 hit single "Simply Irresistible." ~ Jason Birchmeier
