KATYA

KATYA is known for her refreshingly personal solo performances where she combines her soulful vocals, keys and guitar with electronic beats, jazz overtones and atmospheric soundscapes, courtesy of numerous triggered effects. Her debut single, 'I'll Take Your Number', – released on Glastonbury's Acoustic Stage – garnered national and international radio support with spins on BBC Radio 1 and Deutschlandfunk Kultur (Germany). KATYA creates, records and produces all her music and this lead track off her upcoming EP was mixed by multi-Grammy award winning ‘Spike’ Stent.

KATYA gained popularity on TikTok and Instagram through her self-produced, comedy-infused clips in which her alter ego character ‘Kiki’ uses household objects to create beats. These have transferred over to her live performances as an often requested encore! KATYA launched ‘It’s Monday… and I Wanna Party (Kiki)’, on Truck Festival’s Main Stage.

KATYA has been awarded Henley Festival’s Westcoast RISING Star Award “celebrating outstanding achievement and great potential”. She performed twice at Glastonbury 2024, again on the Acoustic Stage and on the Greenpeace Stage, and just opened for Paul Carrack on his 22-date anniversary tour of the UK culminating with a special show at the Royal Albert Hall, London.

KATYA’s passion lies in the creation and live performance of her music where, at one moment she stills a sea of people and then brings them to their feet dancing and singing her catchy, uplifting lyrics.
