Javier Ruiz, also known as KATZZ, is a Spanish music producer who was born in Madrid in 1991. At a young age of fourteen, Jay started exploring the realm of electronic music by learning deejaaying and performing his first shows when he turned sixteen. By 2009, he began honing his skills in music production using FL Studio and created his first tracks at the age of eighteen. Two years later Jay pursued a degree in sound engineering in Madrid under the tutelage of Michel Martin, a renowned Spanish Sound Engineer, which propelled him into his professional career.
In 2020, KATZZ launched his first progressive house track titled "In This Life," which opened doors for numerous other tracks on top international labels such as ENORMOUS TUNES, Purified Records, Enhanced Music, and SOAVE, among others. As a DJ, KATZZ has performed in some of the most mesmerizing avenues of Madrid, his hometown, for the past twelve years. Currently, he is residing in Ibiza, working on new musical projects.
