Kawa Bahrami was born 1990 in Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, Iran. Coming from a line of Kurdish folk musicians from both parents side, he was influenced from an early age. Kawa began to play guitar in his late teens and immigrated to UK when he was 20. He went to Access Creative College ACC, followed by Jazz Degree from Middlesex University.
Since graduating, he has been composing and arranging music in various genres alongside teaching music.
