R&B/ Soul Singer, Kawasi (pronounced Quay-ci), does more than tell stories through his lyric's - he motivates and inspires. Born and raised in Albany, Georgia, under the care of his grandmother, Mrs. Reather Weston, Kawasi was showered with love and purpose at a young age - she raised him from 6 months.


Some may assume that after graduating Morehouse College and attending Princeton University he would feel fulfilled; but he still felt empty. He knew there was so much much in him that needed to be release - so he left behind a career in the world of International Affairs to pursue his dreams, music.
