Katleho Rakhetsi known as KAY-T DIRECT and fondly referred to as the “DIRECTION”, is a South African recording artist and entertainer more likely a Creative.
KAY-T DIRECT made his first foray into music in 2015 with the release. Shared a stage with most known artists in SA Industry (Dj Fortee ,Chicco ,Big Zulu ect) ,as he grows he has been able to bring good music to people.
Born in Vaal (Vanderbilpark) and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. After Dropping out of High school,
he chose to pursue his career in music full-time.
As an artist, he believes that it is most important to relate to listeners through honest storytelling and genuine sentiment. He maintains that it is his responsibility as an artist to voice and reflect the society around him.
He’s influenced by Legends & icons like HHP ,MANDOZA & CASSPER NYOVEST.The plan has been to take it to the world & take it to the top , Performing at FNB STADIUM & Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Over the years, his ability to blend honest rap lyrics to viral amapiano instrumentals has endeared him to the music industry of South Africa.
