Los Angeles based KAYA (aka Jean-Philippe Kaya) skillfully merges playing the piano since he was four with a passion for DJing and producing electronic music. Hailing from Bordeaux, France, with parents from Cameroon and Congo, and having lived across the US and Canada, KAYA draws from a diverse tapestry of influences to craft his signature sound.
Since learning how to DJ during the pandemic, KAYA's seamless blend of melodic house and afro tech grooves has led him across North America sharing the decks with Pete Tong, HUGEL, deadmau5, MEDUZA, Kaleena Zanders, KREAM, Joel Corry, SNBRN, Todd Edwards, A-Trak, and others. With releases on Ultra Records, Groove Bassment, and most recently Speed Dial Records, KAYA's top tracks have been heard on SiriusXM Diplo's Revolution and Miami's renown dance station Revolution 93.5FM, as well as at Glastonbury, Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Beyond Wonderland, and Electric Forest.
Dedicated to his craft, KAYA continues to hone his skills both in the studio and on stage, building his brand one fan at a time.
