Kaymolic

The phenomenal song writer, stage performer and vocalist, born Kamogelo Thage, is from Pretoria, the capital city (Cap City) of South Africa in a township called Mamelodi. Kaymolic was born in Dennilton, Mpumalanga however was raised in Pretoria. Her love and interest for music started in 2016 when she was invited to the studio by Shuffle Muzik and MRD (i.e. Team Mosha), Kaymolic was 17 years at the time. Amapiano single titled “Sofa Silahlane” was recorded that day and later released and did extremely well within the Amapiano genre. That’s when the whole dynamic of the Amapiano genre evolved and caught the attention of many music lovers.Due to school commitments, Kaymolic had to slow down her pace in pursuing her dream and living up to the standard of the massive hit single “Sofa Silahlane”. At the end of it all, Kaymolic was unable to tour with Team Mosha, shoot a music video (for Sofa Silahlane) and additionally had to miss the opportunity of getting a recording deal. All things music were put on hold.
Kaymolic made her return into the music scene in 2020, where she joined forces and collaborated with various Pretoria based producers and artists. In 2021, Kaymolic had to rebrand from being “Kamo” into being “Kaymolic”when she joined the Record Label: Stev’La Productions. Recently, Kaymolic
has recorded a track with the young renowned DJ/Producer: Vigro Deep, titled
“Need to be home” which is for release in March 2022.
