Born in Broome, Western Australia, Kayps is an Indigenous Walmatjarri and Bunuba artist now based in Perth. Kayps writes and produces focusing on lyrical and melodic vocal performances with his signature ability to go from melodic catchy hooks to reaching breakneck speed flows on hiphop break downs. Kurrungaya writes about experiences in his life but also tends to have fun with clever wordplay and memorable melodies.
