KAYZER was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1985. After passing the national exams at age 11, he was accepted to Galatasaray High School. He quickly found himself in a band of his own performing both heavy metal/rock covers and original material. Despite his dedication to his studies in political science at Galatasaray University, his pull towards music was always strong. He was especially interested in the counter-propaganda power of art and sought to create his own style.
After graduating from university in 2009 he went to Paris for his master’s degree and began to focus on the social/destructive impact of music. He started to view music as a revolutionary tool to reach people. After returning to Turkey, he wrote politically controversial songs and kept performing at music festivals with his band.
During his exploration of extreme music, his path crossed with Armageddon Turk and Ekin Kurt with whom he co-produced his songs. He describes his provocative genre as trap rock/alternative.
