KC Cameron find roots at the musical intersection of Detroit. While hailing from the stomping grounds
of Bob Seger, Ted Nugent and the Temptations, KC grew up country in the family quarter horse business
where the records spun had names like Reba, Garth, and George (Jones and Strait). Come to a KC
Cameron show and you’re likely to hear subtle hints from all the above.
KC now tours and resides in the Midwest, finding a home in the more traditional country and rock
sounds of the Red Dirt region. You’ll often find him along side his wife and songwriting partner Kali
Indiana working up the next project.
April 2022 brought the reveal of the homespun debut EP, “Don’t Get Better” for KC and the band. It is
available for streaming and download everywhere music is found along with the music video for the title
track that gives a bit of a window into who KC is and where you can find him on and off the road.
2023 brought the release of “Average”, the sophomore record
and first collaboration with yellow DOG Studio and David Percefull. This 4 song EP is available everywhere now. 2024 takes it up a notch with the first full length feature record debuting later this year, produced by David Percefull and CR Pendleton. The first single “Hopalong” is available May 17.
