“Raw emotion” are the words that Keegan Foley uses to describe his music. From his makeshift studio in Springfield, Virginia, he started creating beats in eighth grade. Originally just selling beats to online artists, Keegan did not think of singing his own music until much later. In high school, his former hobby turned into a refuge for his present problems. He first started publishing music under the alias Biased Guapo, but has since changed his name to his legal one. “Everyone tries to make their life amazing in person or on social media, but in reality, life is very hard and it isn’t something that people should go through alone.” Keegan tunes out the embellished glamour seen on the internet and uses his music to express the realest of feelings: failures, relationships, and hidden dreams. His time collaborating with artists in the DC/DMV area influenced many of the talents that he has since taken to his time at college. When asked what hopes he has for his music, Keegan says, “I have a deep appreciation for anyone who has ever listened to my music and given it a chance. I hope you can enjoy, relate, and vibe to my music.”
