Kehne is a blend of a 90’s sound fused with traditional melodies and a millennial sound. She fuses classical Nigerian music with influences from r&b, neosoul and dancehall whilst finding inspiration from artists like Toni Braxton, Whitney, Beyoncé, Onyeka onwenu, Sean Paul etc. She isn’t pigeonholed into a specific music genre. Her music defies categorization and she’s solely focused on creating a sound that is uniquely hers. The richness and power in her vocals, her dark, melodic and subtly toxic lyrics - one of the most striking things about her - is the focal point of her music. Every song created is reminiscent of different moments in her life and she wants to share these stories through music. In her words, “she is ready to share these parts of herself and find the ones who understand her journey.
