Kelashik (born Koushik Venkatesan) is an independent music producer and visual designer from Tamil Nadu, India. Born in Cuddalore and raised in Chennai, he built his career outside the traditional label system, shaping his own path as both artist and creator. His stage name comes from a Tamil quirk: if you misspell “Koushik,” it reads as “Kelashik.”
He began releasing music in 2017 with The Unknown Artist, a small instrumental project, and soon expanded into full-length albums and collaborations. Over the years, his catalogue has grown to include Nanbargal (2018), Collab Bro? (2019) , QC (2020), Kadhol (2021), and QC2 (2022), alongside instrumentals like Pethai OSTs and Wicolian Beats. His Pogadha Di Remixes project was recognized by both the Asia and India Book of Records for producing the most remixes with multiple artists from his own label.

Known for blending Tamil identity with electronic, cinematic, and rap influences, Kelashik has built a body of work that is raw, experimental, and unconfined by genre.
Outside of music, he works as a visual and motion designer, often creating his own artwork and visuals, ensuring each release carries his distinct fingerprint in both sound and style.
