Kelsey Lee Cate is a contemporary pianist and composer who loves to share music that reflects love, hope and peace. She is often inspired to sit down and play in response to life experiences - hers and others’. To Kelsey, the art of playing and listening to music can be as connective and therapeutic as it is enjoyable and relaxing. She has often experienced how a stranger can quickly become a friend through a similar love for a song or style of music. She believes that music is a powerful way to connect with others and to share common ground together.
In addition to sharing her own compositions, Kelsey also performs publicly in the greater Seattle area, and has been a regular pianist at many favorite local places including the Space Needle, Canlis and The Bellevue Collection. She also has a weekly piano live stream that is viewable on YouTube, Facebook and Twitch.
