Brooklyn-born creative and hip-hop artist, KEN.DRA credits her bold and melodic sound to her Caribbean roots. Her parents are from Barbados and Jamaica and she recalls calypso and dancehall music as the first genres she's ever listened to. Her father owns Pash Frequency Sound System and has worked with legendary artists such as @Lady Saw, @Sean Paul and @Mr Vegas--and have tremendously influenced her music.
KEN.DRA studied Film Production at Brooklyn College, and directed the visuals from her recently released mixtape, titled VeronaViolet. KEN.DRA is an accomplished dancer and makeup artist. Her work has been featured in Essence, Love and Hip Hop New York, and NYFW. KEN.DRA founded her own production house and record label, BUSS A BLANK where she produced two seasons of the web-series, Kall Her Ken TV and Wah ‘Gine On?
