Ever since Kenny West was 15 years old he has had a love and passion for music. His first time singing aloud was in an office building, while assisting his father with his janitorial business. As Kenny vacuumed and belted notes from underneath his headphones, unaware of his volume, it was then his father realized that Kenny had a very special gift.
Immediately after that Kenny’s mother connected to him their local church choir to begin serving regularly. Then in 2001, Kenny would feel a calling toward worship leading and ministry through music. He would later attend Kentucky State University where he would graduate with a concentration in Vocal Performance.
Kenny would say that his influence of gospel and r&b have shaped both his interpretation and his sound. When writing and releasing new music his hope is always that each song encourages, empowers and invigorates the listener to believe in the person of Jesus.
Kenny currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Brittany and two daughters, Zoe & Layla.
