Kent Goodson

Kent is from Southeast Missouri. He began playing music in bands when he was eleven years old and continued through college playing keyboards. After graduating from college, he moved to Nashville.
In 1982, Kent became the piano player for George Jones' band, The Jones Boys. With 28 years of touring with George Jones, he has performed and appeared on: The Grand Ole Opry, Hee Haw, The Johnny Carson Show, The Jay Leno Show, The David Letterman Show, Late Nite with Jimmy Fallon, Austin City Limits, and George Jones' own TNN show, "The George Jones Show." Other artists Kent has worked for: Conway Twitty, Randy Travis, and Bobby Bare.
Kent owns a recording studio, Digitracks Nashville. In 2008, he produced a CD of musical narratives with major league veteran umpire, Joe West and worked with Jeff Keith on a solo country project.

Kent and Michael Panasuk released a Christmas CD in 2018 titled "A Music Machine Christmas". It contains original and traditional Christmas songs.
