Kesha Nevé is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from Jindabyne in the NSW Snowy Mountains.
Having just released her debut single 'Better This Way', she is known for her soulful and raspy, distinctive voice, emotional stage presence and a natural connection with audiences. Kesha has grown from local performances to the national spotlight.
Music has always been a part of her life. With family, friends, a guitar and live performances shaping her journey from a young age, Kesha brings honesty and heart into every song she sings. Kesha’s sound blends country and pop shaped by real emotion and a reflection of where she has come from, personal experiences and a whole lot of stories that she is ready to tell.
A former avid and competitive skier, Kesha first started singing at the age of 8 years and won
the local Jindy Idol competition also busking at local shopping centres and building a local and
loyal hometown following. Fast track 14 years later, she’s actually winning Australian Idol 2026.
She comes from a sporty yet highly musical household. Her father is also a musician and
accompanied her on stage for a performance of ‘The Climb’ (Miley Cyrus) during the
Australian Idol finals. Prior to entering Australian Idol, Kesha spent time working in the UK and a
year working on a farm in New Zealand.
Post Idol, Kesha sold out not one, but two hometown shows.
Kesha will hit the road touring with Kalani Artis (#3 Australian Idol) from September 2026-March
2027.
