OUT NOW
PRODUCED BY DJ GOMI
FRATERNITY MUSIC GROUP
KESS was first introduced to the Hip Hop scene in 1993 when featured on a song called "Blow up the Spot" on Super Lover Cee & Casanova Ruds EP on wild pitch. KESS made a name for himself as a lyrical MC during New York City's 90's scene engaging in ciphers with some of today's most legendary artist. After creating a buzz, KESS met with labels such as Big Beat Atlantic and Def Jam however never found a deal that suited him. In 1997 KESS signed a deal with AV-8 records and released Against the Law part 1 & 2. Against The Law pt 1 (Produced by the Undercova Brother) Appeared on many of N.Y.C hardcore underground Mixed tapes and later became a Boom Bap classic with Millions of streams on You Tube. Against The Law part two produced by Kenny Dope received airplay on New York City's underground radio shows in the 90's such as Stretch and Papitos 89.9. Far before other MC's mentioned the New World order or the illuminati, Kess brought us into this subject with lines like " illuminati keep every body taking losses, while true crime boss's stay mounted on pale horses" Making reference to the book Behold the Pale horse. Fast forward to 2007, KESS dropped his first Studio Album Imagination. Imagination included Smash underground Anthems Summertime and I've Seen A lot of Shit. Now working with Fraternity Kess has released 5 singles and is dropping his 2nd album this year.
