Grew up in Africa where music, song and dance are an everyday occurrence no matter where you are, be it standing in a bank queue or sitting on a bus. To earn my bread and rent money, I am a teacher by daylight and a musician by night. I do not have any preferences when it comes to music; all genres are open to me. I tend to mix the genres when I am writing; my aim is to produce a fresh sound that listeners can relate to. I am also a bit of a philosopher by heart, and so this does tend to creep into my lyrics. I am very conscious of the 'Great Source Of Creation' that surrounds my everyday living experience, and it is this awesome energy that drives me to keep on living life and writing songs
