Kevin "Blake" Goodwin is a progressive acoustic and electric fingerstyle guitar player from Conway, Arkansas (USA). He is the 2015 Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar champion, an international acoustic guitar competition held annually in Kingston, Ontario and the winner of the 2016 (Acoustic Division) , the 2017 (Electric Division), and the 2018 (Acoustic Division) Guitar Wars competition in San Antonio, TX - the longest running guitar competition in America. He is the founder of FRETMONKEY RECORDS, a popular international fingerstyle guitar community spanning 11 countries and replicated in China whose mission is to create career-changing opportunities for musicians across the globe. His electric albums “Dissonance” released in late 2018 and its short film companion simultaneously released on Amazon Prime, Amazon Video On-Demand, and Vimeo On-Demand. It's bi-polar companion, “Resonance” (acoustic) album is set to be released in 2019. He holds a number of high-profile endorsements and was honored with the Kevin Blake Goodwin "KBG" Signature Series 7-string Acoustic Guitar manufactured by Mayson Guitars. His music is a blend of haunting jazz, Djent metal, and rock melodies coupled with traditional percussive fingerstyle guitar techniques.
