As Pops Staples said, “Before I leave here, I want to leave a record for somebody to follow in my footsteps. That’s why we sing.” I am here to honor all of those who came before me and handed me the gift of music that I am so humbled to share. I cherish the ability to express my feelings of love, loss, confusion, bliss, anger, sadness, and anything else that I may feel like sharing with you. I remember walking past my dad’s iPod mini in the 7th grade and hearing Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young sing “Carry On”. From that point on, I knew that love, peace, and joy can be sung into the universe. I love my family, friends, and the mystery of life that we are all here to uncover.
