Kevin Healey, a.k.a. Eddie Kite, is a singer-songwriter and Associate Professor of Media Studies based in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire. Since 1996, Kevin has released nine EPs: Kindhealer, Eddie Kite, Puppet Flags, Coffee Stains, Other Lands Whisper Maybe, Lazy and Low, When The Night Winds Come, X Minus One, Bright Cities, Come Back Home, and Heaven Can Wait. He released a full-length LP called Tendrils in 2018, and another titled Carnival Nomads in 2021. In 2019, he released an LP as part of the duo Wish Tank, a collaboration with long-time friend Charlie Weber. Kevin's music and poetry have been featured on American Pancake, Last Day Deaf, The Creators of SomeCity, Abstract Mag TV, Meat for Tea, Typishly, and Raw Art Review. Kevin's essays on digital culture appear in Huffington Post, Salon, The Revealer, and Religion Dispatches. His co-authored book on ethics and digital culture, Digital Proverbs, was published by Routledge in 2019 and was named Book of the Year by the Religious Communication Association.
