Kevin Lux

Kevin Lux has been creating his own original blend of electronic music since 1981. Formal worldwide releases and promotion began in 1995. The style varies from Synth Pop/Electro/Industrial/Machine Pop/Ambient/Synthwave [Gary Force Field]. During the initial period of 1981 – 1995, Kevin was referred to as: !Pulss. This music was a primitive raw sound/genre utilizing live improvisation, 8 bit sampling of various content including Kevin’s voice, wild percussive patterns, chaotic melodies, and effects.

Kevin’s music is a mixture of hardware/software technologies. Each album has a different theme by design.

xuLniveK: An alternate persona of Kevin Lux specializing in a more experimental darker sometimes comical direction.

Gary Force Field:

In 2020 Kevin decided to explore the SynthWave music genre. Kevin chose to to create a new persona entitled, “Gary Force Field” and write an album influenced by this musical genre with a new concept of it.

!Pulss:

The music production under the named, “Kevin Lux” artist was retired in 2022.

2023 – Full Circle:

!Pulss has now been reborn based on the original concept of loosly structured chaotic semi-melodic retro/electro dance music. Production uses current hardware/software technology, including some of the original vintage equipment and work flows. !Pulss is reborn for the 21st century. Parts of production are totally improvised, as in the past.
