Writing music has always been a passion to share since Kevin Ray Nichols picked up a guitar as a teenager and began writing music with his older brother. He recently retired from the U.S. Air Force after almost 21 years of faithful service and now shares his love of music and of The Lord with you all now!
A worship leader in the Church since 2006 across several countries during his time in the U.S. Air Force, Kevin Ray Nichols is a singer/songwriter, passionate in using his spiritual gifts in exhortation and discernment together with writing music in an experience that is heartfelt and Spiritual-led.
Kevin Ray's new album "God Is My Song" released in January 2019 and is a contemporary praise and worship album featuring 10 original tracks and a "rugged" acoustic rendition of "Old Rugged Cross." The album is based on Psalm 118:14; "The Lord is my strength and my song." Kevin hopes it encourages and strengthens listeners as these songs have done for him during the writing process.
