Kevin Shin

Since 2016, Korean-American hip-hop artist Kevin Shin has been at the center of the Korean music scene, having released multiple EP’s and has been recognized in the underground hip-hop scene as one of the most versatile musicians in the game.


In 2018, he was pronounced Producer of the Year at the 2018 China Music Awards for the track “6” by Kris Wu. In 2017, he produced “BM” for Burberry X Kris Wu as well as “Lullaby” for BeatsbyDre Above the Noise Campaign. He is known for “Bridging Cultures Through Music” within the USA, South Korea, and China as he grew up in the United States, debuted in South Korea and has made hip-hop hits in China.


Shin originally hails from Chicago, IL where he grew up and developed his passion for hip-hop music. Since then, he’s lived in Seoul, and Beijing becoming more aware of different cultures and embracing his own Korean roots. Shin gained recognition for producing, writing, and collaborating with the biggest names in both Asia and America, and in 2019 founded the independent record label Free Culture International Group with the intention of entering the US market.


On December 20th, 2019 Shin dropped his debut single Hotel Tokyo.
