Kevin Wood’s music writing can go deep. Not merely content on writing songs, Kevin strives to create meticulously-crafted albums that offer the listener a deeply soulful, meaningful experience.
“Before I compose I try to be in the right space, which may be my most blessed gift in writing. Once in this space of openness, acceptance and connectedness with my heart and soul, melodies and musical ideas often flow from me spontaneously. It’s a dance with Spirit — a purposeful co-creation. So, writing music becomes all encompassing. It’s imaginative, it’s emotional and, in essence, spiritual. Similar to humanity looking out into the universe and taking it in with awe and wonder, I am looking into my inner universe and inviting indwelling Spirit to flow through me in a language we share together. Spirit meets the soul space, which then manifests into consciousness as deeply inspired music.”
