It’s been a hell of a couple years for Keyan’7e but this is just the beginning. Keyan’7e was born in Chicago, Illinois raised by his mother and father who influenced Keyan’7e music taste at a young age. When he rode in the car with his mom it was mostly Neo Soul RnB, Missy Elliott, or Tupac. “While in the car with with my pops we mostly listened to OutKast, the Dungeon Family, and Goodie Mob.”
Which also shows influence to the melodic side of his music as well.
Keyan’te would split his time growing up between St. Paul/Minneapolis MN with his mom and dad and Chicago IL in the summer time with his grandparents. Keyan’te found his passion for making and writing music when he attended Roseville Area High School. “I would ride my bike to Walgreens and got get that 15 dollar karaoke mic and plug that joint into my computer and rap over my own beats”. In the summertime, keyan’te would attend Olive Harvey summer school “this is where I learned to freestyle. we would be in there rapping all day, at lunch, on a field trip anywhere we could freestyle we would.”
Present day: what can we expect from Keyan’7e?
Keyan7e has been creating music on a daily basis & collaborating with notable producers, songwriters & artists in the industry. “NEW MUSIC im dropping a song I didn’t get to even finish” he joked “I know I’ve been teasing music for the past couple of years but I had to get everything in order, I promise the heat is on the way I’m a late bloomer.
