Keyslash Da Mayor was born Chapez McCord in Lagrange, Georgia February, 12, 1991 at West Georgia Hospital. He was Born the youngest of two boys on his mothers side, Deaundre (Scratch Mac) McCord being the oldest. He took an early interest in music, joining the school and church choirs. He also played drums at his local church alongside his brother, Deaundre (Scratch Mac), on piano. The chemistry between this brotherly duo manifests through their music. It is safe to say that musical talent and drive has always been with Slash from the beginning.
