Keyvon Forbes

Born to a military family with six kids Keyvon’s world has always been big but never simple. After almost dying from meningitis at the age of two he cemented his status as a fighter in the eyes of his family. In 1999 the family returned from Germany and Keyvon saw America for the first time. Growing up in an extreme religious environment mixed with a family history of mental illness shaped a young Keyvon’s world in ways no one could expect. Raised in a family with religious fervor that would make Carrie’s Mother feel cozy. His imagination and the ability to create his own world became essential to his siblings surviving a very isolated upbringing. He often created stories and games that the siblings would all play, At the age of 13 that creativity transferred into an obsession with music. After being forced onto the streets Keyvon leaned on his creativity and determination to survive. Now all these experiences culminate into the music that his fans can enjoy.
