KFT, also known as Kwasi, is a dynamic singer, songwriter, and producer based in Toronto, Canada, and Accra, Ghana. Raised by Ghanaian parents, his upbringing significantly influenced his distinctive sound. With his new single Dear Sophia, KFT shifts focus to a deeply personal experience—his daughter. Inspired by her premature birth at 27 weeks and their time in the NICU, the song is a heartfelt letter reflecting his emotional journey of fear, hope, and resilience.
