Khaikhan from Istanbul, is a DJ and a producer. He combines local instruments and sounds with the world sounds in order to create a rich musical texture that he names “Bosphorus Orient and World Ethnic Sounds”
Since than in his music career with over 30 years he had been the resident Dj for many top iconic venues in Istanbul. By 2000’s his productions played an important role in his musical career. He has produced the first Chill Out album of Turkey.
His Projects
Khaikhan has a long-term, the formed their electronic music project “Majnoon” by 2017. Since than Majnoon and its event series named “Ethnic Universe‘ has been recognized as an important act in its genre.
Khaikhan is also the founder of RIST ISTANBUL, Radio Istanbul and RIST Records.
In addition to his Djing carrerier he is also a well established music producer known for his collaborations with such names as Claude Challe, his tracks has been released around the world in many compilations including , Buddha Bar XXI, Select 6, Buddha Bar Monte Carlo, Ibıza Formantera, Claude Challe Greatest Hits, Cote D’azur vol.2 and Bercana Music, Do Not Sit,Copycow, Lump Records, Pipe & Pochet, Buddha Bar, Wanderlust Musica, George V., Camel Riders, Harabe, Kosa Records, Cafe De Anatolia, Rist Records, Grey Bar Hotel, Dreams Way, Shango Records, Globalismo, Trndmsk, Fm Records Greece, Meditelectro, Zoromoni, Warm Box ...
