Khamsin is an emo / post-rock band from Nashville, TN.

Beginning as the solo project of Jacob Curry, the band has grown toward lyrically based, Second Wave-inspired emo with washed out, yet jagged guitar riffs and a rolling rhythm section.

As a full band, currently including friends Cole Harrison (<a href="spotify:artist:3YZDUczmoO1w5698WxeCqH" data-name="Nicholas Wall">Nicholas Wall</a>), Eric Emling (<a href="spotify:artist:0vBeV0RgPO3cfP1jb2gTpL" data-name="midmajor">midmajor</a>), and Caleb Pierce, the group has shared the stage with a variety of acts throughout the Midwest and East Coast including <a href="spotify:artist:61awhbNK16ku1uQyXRsQj5" data-name="Thursday">Thursday</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3YvQkjWJ5ykJVUNP7YbTy9" data-name="From Indian Lakes">From Indian Lakes</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:05MlomiA9La0OiNIAGqECk" data-name="Delta Sleep">Delta Sleep</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5gbwngeG3dwS4ARmtgud9C" data-name="Pianos Become The Teeth">Pianos Become The Teeth</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5RXLh2Xx0zUslNR6tIxSqH" data-name="Caracara">Caracara</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:39cSG80bKnk96yuvGv5KlT" data-name="Valleyheart">Valleyheart</a>. After a string of EPs and numerous regional tours with friends like <a href="spotify:artist:2iGQR8gH9aKFtCxOsPGFYx" data-name="Tummyache">Tummyache</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1LaUo7NXjxYOXRQbmX4vnG" data-name="Bouquet">Bouquet</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:09uXSUo6d3tbknRXwOCJFV" data-name="A Modest Proposal">A Modest Proposal</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:42CtfchGN7kbjNOeRRPmqT" data-name="Antlerhead">Antlerhead</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:4Ou0J4IV7RLRs0dO0IOjbs" data-name="Old News">Old News</a>, Khamsin released their debut LP What’s Left of Life on May 13, 2022.
