Biography

Donell Makai Spruiell also known as KHB Kai was born on January 13th 2005. He was born and raised in Sanford, North Carolina. King Kai has been introduced to music at a very young age. As a toddler he was exposed to studio sessions from his father and close family friends is what began his love for music. His love for music grew and at the age of 11 he began writing his own songs. It was then that his parents realized how talented their son was and supported him 100% and invested in a quality home studio and equipment to support their sons dreams. Performing can naturally for him as he started participating in church plays and performing songs for youth events but in 2018 he began performing his music for local events and enjoys doing it! In 2018 & 2019 he performed at events such as the P.L.U.M. Festival, Sanford showcase (which he won), This has to stop Events and so much more! In 2019 he released a mixtape called “Not too Young 4 the game” on cd and a single on digital platforms called “Don’t Need At All” On January 13th 2020 his EP will drop on major digital platforms with the hopes of much success in it! King Kai will continue doing music and performing so continue to support
