Khristian Dentley has toured worldwide as a member of the eight-time Grammy Award–winning vocal group Take 6 since 2004. What began as a fill-in role grew into his permanent position as the group’s baritone. In April 2011, the band was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, adding to a list of honors that also include Dove Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and a Soul Train Music Award.
Beyond his work with Take 6, Dentley is an accomplished solo artist and producer. His work includes producing for and collaborating with major artists such as Fred Hammond, Joe Sample, India.Arie, Martha Munizzi, Marvin Winans, and Clint Brown, among many others.
As a solo recording artist, he has released his own music, including his acclaimed jazz trio album Khristian 3.0. He also serves as the founder and CEO of his own production company, Dentleyboy Production House.
At Tomb Slayer, a Christian music, radio, and media company, Dentley plays a key creative role. He has produced multiple releases, such as “Brightly Beams,” “Wake Up!,” and “Via Dolorosa,” which features his vocals as well as Grammy-winning artists Fred Hammond, Marcus Miller, and Gabriel Preisser. Additionally, Dentley hosts Tomb Slayer’s “The Good Stuff” podcast, where he talks with Christian professionals from various industries about pursuing their passions while honoring their faith.
