Kice

“Kice” is a Singer-Songwriter/Music Producer from Toronto, Ontario. Growing up in a musical family, paved the way for his journey today. Both of his late parents were singers and that trait was passed down to all of his siblings. Kice has a unique style, where he blends elements of music from the 90’s and 2000’s while making it relevant with today’s sound. Kice had his first taste of success with his single “Crush On You” in early 2010 which amassed over 100,000 views on YouTube and was awarded, most viewed and most discussed video in Canada in its first week. Having performed in venues all over Toronto under the artist name “Kastro”, he has had success online and on stage, performing to crowds of up to 30,000. Sharing the stage with the likes of, Massari, Raghav, even Bollywood sensation Atif Aslam. He has “Live to Air” performances with major radio stations in Canada, namely, Flow 9.35 and Z103.5 hits. With all his experience, he has now turned to music production and songwriting as his focus. Writing in many styles and genres, ranging from hip hop - rap to country pop, his versatility and range make him someone to watch. Often sonically being compared to “The Weeknd”, his higher octave brings a smooth, calming feel to your ears. He currently does all of his own music production, songwriting, recording and engineering so he’s basically a one stop shop. With big dreams and a stubborn mentality, Kice aspires to be one of the greatest songwriters you’ve ever known.
